The following is from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. There are 4 chapters or Padas and each have a 23rd verse or a sloka.
Pada 1 / Sloka 23:
Kukkutasana (The cockrel pose)
Assuming Padmasana insert the hands between the thighs and calves, planting them (the hands) firmly on the ground, raise the body in the air. This is kukkutasana.
