SETI@home is a scientific experiment by the University of California in Berkeley, that uses Internet-connected computers in the: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

In the SETI@home project users can form groups. Groups can compete to analyze the most data, or they can meet and discuss SETI via the web.
