DMS[edit]
The DMS is a series of voice switches from Nortel Networks
This is a quick start as i have started working on Voice at work to, ill add in notes and clean it up as i go along... (which as usual means this is now a dumping ground for random info related to DMS switches / Voice networking in general)
OM info[edit]
OM stands for operational measurement
Here are some acronyms used in OM's (in order they appear in the om logs)
- SWITCH - switch number
- ADNUM - Unqueue identifying number used by the local DMS switch to identify elements.
- CLLI - Common Language Link Identifier, reffrence name for route.
- DIR - Direction, Is this an "In Comeing, (IC)", "out going (OG)" or a "two Way (2w)" element.

- INCATOT - is the number of calls the DMS250 received from the customer.
- PRERTEAB
- INFAIL
- NATTMPT - is the number of calls the DMS250 sent to the customer.
- NOVFLATB - is the number of calls that overflowed from this trunk-group to the next route choice because all trunks in this trunk-group were busy or failed.
