< GroovyJ> Apparently, a screwup in a quantum computing experiment has shown that entangling photons doesn't actualy require that the photons exist - you can entangle empty space just as well. |

Understanding relativity (a model), rambling:
light is part of the whole spectrum of electro-magnetic field. electromagnetic fields trigger various effects on matter. The result of combining matter with electromagnetic fields of various wavelenghts give rise to various effects, heat, visible light, particle emission... etc.
if there is heat there is electromagnetic emission, if there is no heat, then there is no electromagnetic emission.
if there is no heat everything stands still = no time. if there is heat things move = time.
thus the photon (electromagnetic field unit) is responsible for distributing time since it is the electromagnetic unit that enables heat.
if you want to look for the past: look in the shadow. if you want to look for the future: look for the bright spot.
if you want time to stop: get rid of light, and electromagnetic emission :)
correlation between energy and wavelenght:
short wavelength = energy
long wavelength = energy
short wavelength with repetive frequency = lots of energy
long wavelength with repetive frequency = not so lot of energy
wavelenght is usually measured in nanometers.
observing electromagnetic emission from matter:
the wavelenght of the electromagnetic field emitted from matter is in direct corelation with the possible electron movement orbit of the matter.
electron in small Atom emission = short wavelenght energy pulse electron in large Atom emission = long wavelenght energy pulse electron in molecule emission = longer wavelenght energy ripples electron in metal emission = wavelenght depending on metal shape electron in matter with no room for free electron movement = no emission, heat is generated insted, molecule / matter vibration.
