Who?[edit]
Dr. Masaru Emoto was famous by his water experiments then propelled into superstardom by the movie What the bleep do we know?!?, which featured his work weaved into the plotline.
The experiments[edit]
He developed a technique using a very powerful microscope in a freezing point temperature room along with high-speed photography to take pictures of a real rare process of water crystallizing. Not all water samples crystallize however. But he photographed all types of water from different regions and different environments. He stumbled onto a phenomena that shook him. Water crystals seem to 'express' through their formation, something interesting about the conditions it was in. For example: Water samples from extremely polluted rivers showed evidence of real poor crystallization.
