[edit] A WikiNode Map

[edit] for MattisManzel

Hmm,too bad i cant list all of them, there is a maximum of nodes that can be linked to one, or one would have to display them like a chain, one after another. Mutante 20:37, 27 November 2005 (CET)

Now with SVG output. :)

Another mapping attempt at GudinnaWiki

MattisManzel 20:36, 4 December 2005 (CET): Yes, this is exiting. Imagine we now had the rss-feed of the wiki-nodes themselves, not the recent changes. We could then append the wikis every single neighbor of us has on his wiki-node and put them in the graph. We could say show me 2, show me three levels. Maybe the rss-feed of the wiki-node / map? Maybe we could ask: What is the shortest connection via their neighbors from wiki A to wiki B? Click. And it graphically highlights it for you.

example: these are from the wiki-node of free-culture wiki and the info could fly in here by rss-feed

We'll have to make up a standard that does best fit for all. Not wait til it is agreed on a standard but make it up, on a wiki, so that everybody can interfere and say: wait, it would be better to do it like this: ...

I kept up the clean-linking syntax wiki-name: page-name. In a way this is imagineable for every page in wikilandia. Remember the wiki-spam pages on dozens of wikis? This network could have been visualized like that as well.

MattisManzel 19:28, 6 December 2005 (CET): Strange enough that free-culture-wiki: wiki-node in the graphic above links to our wiki-node. How come?

Anon: 11:09, 11 December 2005 (CET): There were multiple links defined, and one of the latter ones was wrongly pointed at S23. Removed them except the first.

MattisManzel 18:02, 11 December 2005 (CET): Does not work for me yet, Firefox says missing plugin, but it doesn't install. Mozilla shows only black squares, but no font in it.
