The doors was rock band from the 60's fronted by some drunk named Jim. He was into aldous huxley and named the band after, presumably, reading book the doors of perception. He died tragicly, much like Mama Cass, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Bradly Nowell (Buddy Holly?), in the height of his career and at the age of 28. The band was know for thier incediary proformances, 'contraversial' lyrics and off stage antics, namely Jim Morrison's. They wrote hits, such as: light my fire, hello, i love you and other songs I can't remember, riders on the storm, strange days. The End was a good song, based on Johney got his gun. I could be making that up.

It was in that movie about war that marlon brandon didn't really want to be in but read passages out of a book and that was good enough. Apocloypse now! Which is much too long in my opinion and they definitely didn't need to make it any longer like they did in the early 21st century.

This isn't very informitive as far as the doors are concerned but I didn't want to do any research. All opinions are mostly sarcastic and I cite myself as a primary source and vh1 behind the music.

    They were on drugs.
