ma: we try to get the texts here exported to wiki, so one could further elaborate and integrate them. As the colors get lost for now when exporting, we started on pre-signing.

mattis: when not just using skype very carefully you can not concentate of the text anymore, its scondary I guess, depends, must be all tried out.

mattis: up to five, we make jam-sessions on it too - music.

mattis: TeamSpeak even more, but it's very much an issue of discipline when there are many, one has to learn that.
Paolo: I know TeamSpeak! I guess you're right, I never did multiple-people calls.
mattis: one could do classes with VoIP and collaborative editing.
Paolo: It would be *very* nice, but the techical level it needs.. is outstanding for state-of-the-art informatics' school teachers, I think. (probably not the best term).

There is quite some storm goin on the mailinglists, about important issues, all vanishes into nothing, instead of doing it on wiki.
Paolo: I know what you mean, is that the cause of your effort about the "ME to wiki" thing?
mattis: no, i'm thrilled about the program. It has an important effect. It creates rythm. You appoint for a next time to reconcentrate, to relax again, to reconcentrate ,,, that's the way the brain works.
Paolo: But it has the same effect as ml discussions, contents get lost. Hm, what do you mean with "appoint for a nest time ..." ?
mattis: contents does not get lost here.

mattis: right (one of the most stupid me-features) confused me a lot in the beginning

what other ideas for promoting tings? I spam irc with them and found some blogs to comment on searching technorati: moonedit.

mattis: how to promote tings better?
sylvie : ACHHHH! :) grosses problem ... live events on the net are very difficult - not to organize but to make them reach a kind of audience with a lot of persons. I talk about events where people are invited to participate in the processus of the meeting.
We can easily spead the word but its not enough just for persons already interested on the subject.
mattis: I whish I had more time to put up some basic recommendations about tinging on ting-wiki. Would be in time.
sylvie : what's your definition of tinging ?
mattis: having tings. ok
sylvie : what are the starting points of this basics recommendations ?
mattis: ting is the worst to search after on google or technorati, I didn't think about that, heck.
recommendations for good tinging:
* add a line between contributions (1)
* seperate urls by shifts, so you can copy them easier
* new contributions on the end of the text (2)
* open two windows, talk and document
* copy good content over to document,
* refactor the page a day after the ting on the wiki (3)
* integrate the results. into relevant wiki-pages.
(1) make a line between contributions as it'seasier to read gives you the possibilty .. to think ...
and restart with a single lineshift.
(2) no rule but it's more easy for all readers like this as it archives the chronology.

Fabi: Ok, this is fine. If you are on the Wiki page you want to MoonEdit you select the MoonEdit action. Should be at the bottom of the pulldown box.

sylvie : when I clic on ME in the menu of your wiki page it's launch my browser but when it stops the page it the same than before ... I mean it's like I've not clic on ME in the menu ... I don't know if I'm clear :)
Fabi: You should see a message of what has happend but see the same page again. The page should get immutable if moved into MoonEdit.
