SynchroEdit is a browser-based simultaneous multiuser editor, a form of same-time, different-place groupware. It allows multiple users to edit a single web-based document at the same time, and it continuously synchronizes all changes so that users always have the same version.

Zunächst muss man sich eine Alpha-Test-Registrierung holen. Das ging bei mir relativ fix. Dann erwartet es die Installation eines Zertifikats. Doch obwohl es sagt: "Das Zertifikat ist installiert." lässt es mich nicht rein. Also: Neustart. Nix. Laut deren Anleitung Zertifikat und Authority entfernen. Neu einbauen. Nix. Wer hat mehr Glück und erzählt uns, was Synchroedit kann? (Es ist offenbar etwas Word-artiger.)
