    Errors and there Meanings[edit]

This section is a quick list of error messages and what they mean.

    pseudo-device: devinfo0[edit]

If you see the below messages:

    Apr 22 04:10:03 host01 unix: pseudo-device: devinfo0
    Apr 22 04:10:03 host01 unix: devinfo0 is /pseudo/devinfo@0

According to sunsolve.sun.com, these often occur when the box is running low on memory. When this happens the kernal kill of idol kernal modules, devinfo0 is on that if often idol but used often so the system restarts it.

When the module is restarted this message is shown, so in its self these messages are not a problem, but the memory usage issues will need to be resolved as they are causing performance issues.
