Is the remote plugin runner for Nagios, it run on *nix systems only (use NSClient++ for MS boxes)
debugging errors[edit]
NRPE: Unable to read output[edit]
when running a check on a remote machean using nrpe, you might get the error message:
"NRPE: Unable to read output"
nrpe's debugging isnt very helpfull at all
check the permisions for the check script your running (it needs to be executable by the nagios user)
